I'm home! And eating and sleeping lots. (LOTS) It's been great seeing family ... lots of new babies to keep us all busy during holiday visits. I haven't seen any friends yet, but soon. I bought a cell phone today, so looks like I'm here to stay -- for at least 2 years. I think it won't hit that I'm here to stay until after the holidays, when things start getting back to normal for everyone else and there is no normal for me. I'm hoping to substitute teach and stay with my mom for a few months, and hopefully find something full-time for September.

There are lots of things I need and want to do. They include (in no particular order) :

1. buy a car
2. pay off my credit card
3. call the local school districts about subbing
4. upload some photos
5. finish the terrible book I'm reading
6. catch up on my e-mail

I heard an update from Paddington's new mother -- she said aside from waking her parents up 5 times a night and eating his toys, he's doing well.

This weekend I'm off to Buffalo for a wedding...I'll see college friends I haven't seen in years!
